NR 265 Nursing VI

 

Course content will focus on the application of the nursing process as it relates to health promotion and care of child/adult clients experiencing interferences with the ability to meet selected basic human needs. Areas of emphasis include the nurse as a provider and manager of care as well as a member of the discipline. Credit not available by examination.

Lecture: 5 hours
Laboratory: 12 hours

Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion NR 255 and BSL 214 with a grade of "C" or better; at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
