Opportunity College is a collaboration between area high schools and the Bluegrass District of the Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS) to provide high school students with the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.

High school students may choose to take courses for college credit as either dual credit or dual enrollment.

DUAL CREDIT

Dual Credit courses are presently available in technical career programs taught at the high school or an Area Technology Center (ATC). Students are enrolled in both their high school and the college simultaneously and receive credit from both institutions for the same course. Tuition for these courses is waived.
