For information on the basic workings of NTFS, this article is pretty good: http://www.winntmag.com/Articles/ArticleID/3455/pg/1/1.html

Km Komando has a Radio Show that discusses computers.  Occasionally she has some articles with descent basic information on technology.  Here are some that I found interesting:
         USB, Fire Wire and Bluetooth
         DVD's and CD's

A great source of basic information on computer technology and how it works can be found at PCuide: http://www.pcguide.com/topic.html.  The sight is a bit dated, but the concepts are still valid.  Another useful site is Tom's Hardware Page.

For a particularly interesting article on what happens to your computer without a heat sink, check out this article.  Tom's Hardware Heat sink Failure

A good page on DOS commands can be found at Computerhope.com.
One warning about this page, in the case of some commands, specifically the xcopy command, it will list switches not actually supported by Win 95.  The switches listed work for MSDOS 6.0 and Win98.  Win95 had substantially fewer.
