Bypass Examinations

ET Bypass Examinations:
Students with non-transferable educational experience or work experience in a given technical area may wish to take a Challenge or Bypass exam for any technical course.  The exams are free of charge, but may only be taken one time.  To take a bypass exam, the person must be accepted for admission to BCTC, and must contact the EET Program Coordinator to schedule a time.  If the person passes the exam,  Pass Credit will be rewarded for the class challenged and will be recorded on the student's transcripts after they have completed an BCTC course.  This credit will not be reflected in the students GPA.  If the exam is failed, the failure will not be reflected on the student's transcripts.  A record of the attempt will be kept in the student's college file.
