We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and involvement in ensuring student success. We understand that the process of guiding students through their college search can be overwhelming. We hope that the below information will help you simplify the process for students and get them excited about the road ahead.

Our website has a wealth of information about our college as well as application information. Please check out the links for Submitting an Application, Application Deadlines (please note that the Freshman Application Deadline is Friday, July 20th), Opportunity College, and information for Beginning Freshman. You can also find information about the BCTCblue+ and transfer scholarships.

BCTC has a new Honor’s Program! Please check out the brochure for more information and encourage students to submit the application if they are interested.

Bluegrass is now receiving high school transcripts through Xap Corporation. Please let us know if you have signed up for that service as well. We would be happy to mail you any admissions materials you may need. Please give us a call at (859) 246-6210 to request documents.

BCTC will consider accepting COMPASS test scores from an outside entity such as another college or high school if the scores are sent to BCTC Advising in an official format. The scores are subject to BCTC and KCTCS Mandatory Placement Policy.

Official format is defined as:

1. Scores are sent directly by fax or mail from the college or high school to the AAC at Cooper or the appropriate regional campus with the school seal (for mail purposes) and counselor or designated official signature.

2. Scores are delivered in person at the AAC at Cooper or appropriate regional campus in a sealed, school letterhead envelope with school seal and appropriate official signature on the score report.
